POLYSTAR ("we", "us", or "our") is a Polymarket-focused prediction-market intelligence platform. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your personal information. By using POLYSTAR, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account Data

When you sign up, we collect your name and email address to create and manage your account. Your email is used for authentication, account recovery, and service-related communications.

2.2 Subscription Data

When you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect your selected plan, subscription status, billing country, and ZIP/postal code. For card payments, we store only the last 4 digits, card brand, and expiry date — never the full card number, CVC, or complete payment details. Card data is processed through our payment infrastructure and is not stored in plaintext on our servers.

2.3 Wallet Intelligence Data

Wallet intelligence features use only public on-chain data from Polymarket's public Data API. No private wallet keys are ever requested, received, or stored. We display publicly available information about wallet positions, trades, and activity that is already accessible through Polymarket's public infrastructure.

2.4 Chat & AI Interaction Data

When you use the Star AI chat feature, your messages and the AI-generated responses are stored to maintain conversation history and improve our support capabilities. Chat messages are processed through our AI provider chain (Groq and OpenRouter) and may be temporarily processed on those providers' servers. We do not share your chat content with third parties for marketing purposes.

2.5 Usage & Technical Data

We automatically collect certain technical data, including your browser type, device information, approximate location (country-level), and usage patterns. This helps us maintain and improve the service, monitor for abuse, and troubleshoot issues.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, operate, and maintain the POLYSTAR platform and its features.
• To manage your account, subscription, and billing.
• To send you service-related notifications, including Star Pick alerts and price alerts (based on your subscription tier).
• To provide customer support through our Star AI chat and human agents.
• To monitor and analyze platform usage to improve our services.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models for prediction purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

• AI Providers — Chat messages are processed through Groq and OpenRouter to generate AI responses. These providers receive message text temporarily and do not retain it for their own purposes.
• Payment Infrastructure — Card information is handled by our payment processing infrastructure, which operates under its own security and privacy standards.
• Legal Compliance — We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted authentication (bcrypt password hashing), secure session management via NextAuth, and database-level access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time through the app or by contacting support. When an account is deleted, we remove your personal data from our active systems, though some data may be retained in backup systems for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
